Whitney started with Erica Weddings as a Wedding Day Assistant in the 2013 wedding season and was promoted to the position of Primary Consultant in January of 2017. She gained her experience in the industry beginning with her tenure at David’s Bridal in 2007. Whitney has assisted with numerous wedding shows, including helping Weddings of Tulsa launch their first bridal show in 2011. Since then, she acquired her certification as an International Event and Wedding Planner through the QC School of Event and Wedding Planning and even started her own business before ultimately deciding to join the Erica Weddings team.
Whitney is passionate about all things wedding and loves helping a bride dial in on her vision for the big day then executing it.
When asked what her favorite part of the wedding day activities are, she answers, “I have two which I feel are equally important. The first is the moment before the bride walks down the aisle. You can see her character, poise, and confidence, whether she is excited, nervous, or in tears. The second would be the first dance. I can always tell a couples personality together and adore watching the groom gaze into his bride’s eyes.”
Whitney’s brides say one of her most unique qualities, as a planner, is her customer service. She’s always making sure that everyone, including the bridal party, families, vendors, and most importantly the bride, are stress-free and enjoying the day.
