This one is an oldie but a goodie!

We were a part of Kate & Blaine’s wedding at Dresser Mansion back in June of 2012 and it remains one of our favorite weddings to date. Both because of how awesome the bride and groom were AND because they had exquisite taste. I’ll let the pictures by Lisa Dunham Photography speak for themselves!

The bride and groom were self-proclaimed foodies. So, only a 5 star, 5 course, european tasting menu would do!

A little casino action for guest entertainment.

And because I can’t resist posting this GEM from Kate’s bridal session…

One of the best investments a couple can make is hiring a videographer! Tulsa is lucky to have PenWeddings and Kate & Blaine made the right choice in hiring them to capture their day. Here’s a highlight video to really get a sense of how fun this day was.

This wedding was extra special to us.

Primarily because the bride is my little sister! It was exciting not only planning her wedding but also getting to be her Matron of Honor. Now there’s a full gallery HERE but here are just a few of our favorites.

There’s just something so beautiful about a classic, downtown church.

The church, in and of itself, is stunning on the inside. So we knew we didn’t feel the need to do much to it in terms of decor. But we decided to create this beautiful entrance at the back of the aisle with these branches. Simple, yet creates such a beautiful image.

Aubrie is not a huge fan of flowers everywhere. But she really loved the branch look. So we came up with this vision of ceiling treatments throughout the reception. This piece hung over the entire length of the head table was jaw-dropping!

This cake! Combined with the sleek, modern acrylic table – just wow!! And, ladies, don’t underestimate the impact of great lighting. This cake had spot lights on it from at least 2 sides.

And, just because I’m obsessed with this shot of Aubrie & Matt at the church. Perfect backdrop. Perfect lighting. I could stare at this picture for hours.

Who doesn’t love a good sparkler exit?!

As you settle in to this chilly week and prepare for Valentine’s Day, here’s a fun image from a wedding a few years back. Here’s to remembering those warm sunny days! It helps that this bride’s name is Sunnie and her favorite flower was the sunflower 🙂

Jennifer + Rob

Jennifer + Rob were married at The Mayo on St. Patty’s Day. This venue was the ideal spot for combining the elegance and a touch of the holiday spirit that the bride was looking for. We added clovers to the wedding cake and even the groomsmen wore 4 leaf clover socks. Of course the photo booth overflowed with St Patty’s Day props for the guests’ enjoyment.

Anne-Marie with The French Bouquet outdid herself on the grand arrangements for the long head table. They stood over 4′ tall above the table! The linens, which came from Marianne’s Rentals in OKC, were a perfect compliment.

The event wouldn’t have been complete without all the beautiful stationery pieces and signage provided by Paper Girl that accented the tables and event space wherever you looked.

Thank you to all that made this wedding a success! It was a pleasure to work with you Jennifer and Rob. We wish you all the best in the years to come!!
